Forgive not Scold

In John's Gospel c13 , as we look at the washing of the disciples feet, it teaches us about the humility of our dear Lord Jesus but there is far more in it than that. Now this script will be very short indeed, in being like that the point will be emphasised

As Jesus washed the feet of the disciples, it teaches that as believers, we first of all need to have our sins washed away by the shed blood, the life giving of our blessed Lord. It also teaches that we need need a daily washing away in our lives, of the sins which does easily beset us

In the room where Jesus was, He took a basin, filled it with water, girded Himself with a towel and washed His lads feet. Please note the water was not scalding hot, their feet were cleansed by the gentle touch of The Saviour.May we be like this please Lord, with each other in our homes, where we work and amongst the fellowship where we worship, please Lord
